This week Music Video Marketplace finally revealed their next collaboration , with the one and only BPI x Abbey Road Studios , MVM have been selected to contribute to “Grow Music” , one of the most prestigious UK Music Tech Programmes ever to be created. This is due to MVM’s recent technical innovations within the past 12 months in relation to our website and AI implementations to our music video catalogue.
Grow Music, the first-of-its-kind innovation programme for the music industry launched in partnership by the BPI, the trade association for the UK’s record companies and labels and the representative voice of British recorded music, and business growth agency London & Partners.
MVM is extremely proud to represent Ireland as the standalone technical influence and hope that this will help us accelerate the timeline to create one of the strongest music creator communities in the whole of the UK and allow so many passionate souls a chance to pursue their artistic dreams. www.musicvideomarketplace.com/aboutus
This opportunity has confirmed to us that the Music Industry would benefit massively from the product that we are creating and that large scale music companies believe in the purpose of it for both the creators and the musicians of the country. We have also taken this opportunity being surrounded by such titans of the music tech scene to get their opinions and viewpoints
On September 14th and 15th MVM were invited to the Abbey Road Studios , the recording place of such music legends as The Beatles and Taylor Swift so the honour is huge with Studio Three playing host to two days of workshops, breakout sessions and keynotes from the Grow Music team and across the industry.
The programme’s cohort is made up of 28 exciting businesses from across London, the East and South East of England. All participants have a minimum of two employees, a turnover or investment of over £50k, actionable plans for growth and an active interest in the music industry.
BPI’s Director of Insight & Innovation Leon Neville said:
